Greetings!
"April showers bring May flowers" would seem to be the appropriate theme for the start of this month. As I write this newsletter, it's currently cloudy and raining. Summer can't come soon enough.
Recently, a friend of mind sent me a link to a YouTube video published by Corning, Inc. on what the house of the future may look like in terms of technology. I have included it in this newsletter as a point of interest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
This month's newsletter features: "Ten Reasons to Automate", A Day Made of Glass, our Model TL Robotic Tray Loader, and FANUC Robotics' M-420iA 4-axis case packing robot. We look forward to serving your automation needs now and in the future. Have a particular interest? Want to see more of something? If you have any topics you would like to see covered in future newsletters, please feel free to email us. |
ACE Spotlight- Ten Reasons to Automate
According to the Merriam-Webster.com online dictionary, the word Automate means to operate by automation or to convert to a largely automatic operation. This months spotlight features the top ten reasons to automate your factory.
10. Increase Flexibility - Automated Cells & Equipment's solutions resolve not only your current problems, but allow you to adapt to new solutions. Robots are flexible and can easily be re-deployed in new applications. It is this ability to adapt that can give you the edge over your competition (and reduce headaches!).
9. Increase Productivity and Product Yield - Simply put, automation allows you to do more with less. Well-designed automation has the ability to take up less floor space and use less resources than other processes or inefficient machinery.
8. Stay Ahead of the Competition - Your competition is automating, why shouldn't you? Besides gaining an advantage on those who have not already made the decision to automate, it is vital to your success that you keep up with the ones who already have. Contact an ACE representative to see how you can improve where you stand against the competition.

A Day Made of Glass

A friend of mine recently sent me a link to this YouTube video published by Corning, Inc. This video focuses on what the home of the future may look like using the display glass and architectural glass products that Corning, Inc. produces. It is a fascinating video showing just how much our lives can be affected through innovation.

ACE Model TL Tray Loader
The ACE Model TL Tray Loader is a flexible small parts handling system used for palletizing delicate parts onto carbon, ceramic or graphite trays prior to firing in a furnace. This system uses the latest in 6-axis robot technology to provide years of trouble-free service.
The Model TL populates a single-tray position which is manually unloaded by an operator after completion. Easy access to the cell is maintained through the use of light curtains.
Features of the Model TL include: graphical part recipe for easy part setup and tray pattern development, fault/status messaging for ease of troubleshooting, user-selectable intervals for manual die cleaning, swing-away tray holder for press die access, large easy open operator access door and three-mode operation including pick/place, pick/invert or pick/lay-down.
