Robot Technician/Field Service Engineer

Robot Technician job responsibilities include assembly of equipment, testing, debugging, installation, warranty calls, robot programming, servicing and training. The position requires both foreign and domestic travel (50% of the job). Qualified applicants must have knowledge of factory automation, preferably FANUC robots and the ability to create PLC programs. They must also have the ability to read prints and schematics, and knowledge of pneumatics and control circuitry. Minimum two year technical degree in engineering is required. Position is available immediately.



Electrical/Mechanical Technician


Job duties include: assembly and wiring of equipment, testing, debugging of systems, and field installation.  Candidates must have the ability to read prints and schematics. Some travel required.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Assembles, plumbs, and wires automation equipment.
  2. Tests, de-bugs and installs equipment as assigned.
  3. Performs mechanical work including fabricating, painting, etc.
  4. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and robots.
  5. Appropriately documents work performed.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Position is available immediately.



Mechanical Engineer
Experience designing factory automation and/or machine design required.  Ideal candidate is a self-starter who prides themself in the development of functional, cost-effective, and accurate designs. Experience with Autocad 2D and 3D Inventor preferred, although candidates with other relevant 2D and 3D solid modeling experience will be considered.

Familiarity with ANSI/OSHA/RIA standards pertaining to robot cell design is a plus. This position has profit/loss responsibility along with heavy customer and vendor contact. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and likes to create factory automation. B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required.



Project Manager
This position is responsible for managing the design and implementation of state-of-the-art factory automation systems and machines for use in select applications, such as material handling, machine tending and material removal. The applications utilize high-tech equipment, such as digital vision, laser engraving and measuring systems, and high-tech sensing and positioning devices. The individual will be responsible for providing and overseeing the mechanical design of systems, as well as having total project management responsibilities, including profit/loss position, for specific projects.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys autonomy, has innovative ideas for factory automation, and prides his or herself in the development of functional, cost-effective and accurate designs and systems. The successful candidate will receive the recognition and reward of exceeding the needs of our customers. Job requirements:

  1. Minimum education - B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum three (3) years’ experience designing factory automation, machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  3. Experience with 3D CAD programming (Autodesk Inventor is preferred).  Candidates with other relevant 2D and 3D solid modeling experience will be considered.
  4. Able to manage assigned projects, develop detailed project schedules, meet established deadlines, meet budgeted costs, and meet or exceed performance requirements.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Project a plus.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  7. Ability to interact smoothly and communicate clearly with management, sales and customers.



Controls / Electrical Engineer

Experience designing, installing, and programming factory automation control systems required. Project management experience preferred. The candidate should be familiar with programmable logic controllers, National Electric codes, robotic technologies, and man-machine interface programming and implementation. This position has profit/loss responsibility along with heavy customer contact. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and likes to create factory automation.  B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
